With three bedrooms and one and three quarter baths, fully equipped kitchen, and cozy living room with fireplace, you'll be able to relax and enjoy a fine dinner cooked at home or go out to any one of many fine dining experiences in the area. But don't stop there, you're only a short walk away from a pristine meadow, where cross country skiing is king, ski along the lakeshore and enjoy the vistas of Lake Tahoe. This classic Tahoe style cabin is only 5 minutes from Heavenly Valley Ski Resort, either the Main Lodge on the California side, or the NEW Base Gondola at Stateline, either way you'll be skiing at the Largest, Highest, Ski Mountain in America in minutes. You're also a short 20 minutes drive from Sierra at Tahoe Ski Resort, just over Echo Summit. And if it's a skiing adventure you're looking, try the 35 minute drive to Kirkwood Ski Area, a locals favorite. If you come in summer, you're in for a treat. There is so much to do, you can't possibly do it all in one weekend. Water sports abound, hiking, biking, fishing, rock climbing, horseback riding, or just vegging on the beach. Then there's the night life, casinos, night clubs, dancing, and first class dining. You'll find whatever you like here at Tahoe. You'll be 5 minutes from the Outlet Mall at the "Y", and a short drive to Camp Richardson which boasts horseback trips into the wilderness, boat rentals and a launch ramp, campgound, fine dining, etc.... Fallen Leaf Lake, the starting place for many a back country hike, with a boating adventure all it's own, great fishing, and across the highway ..the Tahoe Stream Profile Center. Beautiful Emerald Bay, Vikingsholm Castle, Eagle Falls, and the awesome hiking trails into The Desolation Valley Wilderness.
